|Magavon Toby – Executive Chef
Born in the warm tropical island of St.Vincent & The Grenadines, Chef Magavon now calls Vancouver “home”. Being around his father, who is a successful farmer and business man, and his mother who was always at the helm of the kitchen; Chef grew an appreciation for farmed-fresh ingredients and a love of cooking at an early age. His inspiration is working with Master Chefs who truly define this industry with exceptional knowledge and skill set that can only be earned through years of diligent dedication and self motivation. Past experiences include working with Master Chef Bruno Marti and having the opportunity to meet one on one with Chef Thomas Keller and Chef Scott Conant. Chef Magavon is always found challenging himself on ways to “WOW” others with his food creations and combinations of different flavours and complexities.His favorite meal is something that feeds “the soul”, such as braised Beef Short Rib with butter whipped potatoes and glazed root vegetables along with a full-bodied Merlot on a cold winter’s night!

|Robyn King – Operations Coordinator
After graduating from high school, Robyn had a lot of ideas of what she wanted to do as a career. However, when the events industry fell into her lap, it was an easy choice to make. Being able to be creative and the involvement with producing an event from the ground up is what she enjoys most. She enrolled in the Event Management Diploma program at The Art Institute of Vancouver and, since graduating, hasn’t looked back. Now, as the Operations Coordinator, she is fully immersed in the event planning world, in both the corporate and wedding side. She loves assisting her clients with menu customizations, decor visions and executing a flawless event. She’s passionate about music and traveling, and can be found daydreaming in her downtime. Robyn loves our House-Made Crab Cake Benny and has a serious sweet tooth!

In her early 20′s Paula set sail and worked abroad for 5 Star Hotels and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines traveling the world and organizing activities in exotic destinations for 3000 International guests. From one dream job to another; she was fortunate to promote Vancouver as a destination to the world for Corporate Incentives and had the pleasure of planning award-winning Gala Decor and Specials Events. Today, she makes other people’s dreams and visions come true as the Senior Event Planner with Thyme To Indulge Catering. Paula’s inspiration is traveling! And even better if it was from one dinner table to the next with good people and lots of laughter! Her favorite meal is Chef Magavon’s Beef Bourguignon with crusty french bread and lots of butter!!!
